You will be the linchpin in our local operations, reporting to local management while being an integral part of our global IT team functioning within a dynamic matrix management framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Championing Innovative Solutions: Take the lead in advocating and implementing cutting-edge group solutions. Contribute to the evolution of global projects by effectively expressing localized requirements.
  • Agility through Local Solutions: Drive agility by deploying bespoke local solutions that enhance operational flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Strategic Technology Roadmap: Develop a strategic technology roadmap that harmonizes the trajectories of infrastructure and business application teams with the global group strategy, ensuring seamless operational alignment.
  • IT Ambassador for Performance: Assume the mantle of an IT ambassador, propelling performance through strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness tailored to local demands.
  • Support and Compliance: Provide unwavering support to group IT methodologies and processes (IT governance, LISP, GDPR, internal control policy), and seamlessly integrate local regulations for enhanced compliance.
  • Cybersecurity Integration: Seamlessly integrate cybersecurity measures into local infrastructure and applications, fostering heightened awareness within the local context when necessary.
  • Project Leadership: Collaborate with the responsible business unit to successfully manage and execute projects, adhering rigorously to project governance.
  • Onboarding Excellence: Ensure the triumphant onboarding of projects within your domain, fostering a close-knit collaboration between the Group and the emerging subsidiary's team.
  • Proximity-Centric Support: Extend hands-on support for local applications, injecting a commercial perspective to user interactions.
  • Service Delivery Oversight: Assume responsibility for service delivery management and IT service levels within your purview, meticulously measuring KPIs including CSAT ratings to align with group standards.
  • Global Excellence in Infrastructure: Spearhead an environment of operational excellence in infrastructure and operations, seamlessly navigating the dynamics of a global matrix setup.
  • Vendor Management: Skillfully manage local vendors, enhancing our IT capabilities and forging strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Leadership and Development: Provide clear direction, guidance, and professional development opportunities for your IT team, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
  • Budget Management: Take charge of developing, managing, and closely monitoring the IT department's budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation within the region.


  • Knowledge/experience in SAP ERP systems
  • Knowledge in operations management, infrastructure monitoring, and operations.
  • Strong knowledge in IT project management.
  • Professional-level English.
  • Ability to deliver service (IS and IT), service-oriented mindset (KPIs, reports, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, understand business needs, support and challenge their expectations towards business and IT needs, comprehend and describe processes.
  • Change management.
  • Leadership of internal and external global teams.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment.
  • Experience in industrial companies.
